About You
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual with a passion for hospitality and food preparation.
You take pride in maintaining clean, organised workspaces and supporting the kitchen team to deliver high quality service.
You are a team player, physically fit, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful you will need
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or Knife Hand preferred
Food preparation experience (vegetable prep, portioning, basic knife skills)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Available to work a 7 day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Current Food Safety / Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Full working rights in Australia
Your responsibilities will include
Food preparation including vegetable cutting, portioning and basic prep tasks
Assisting chefs with production and service preparation
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, equipment and storage areas
Dishwashing and waste management
Stock rotation (FIFO) and basic stock handling
Supporting the kitchen team during service as required
Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are followed
