We are looking for a skilled and reliable Clinical Remedial Massage Therapist to join our established clinic in Mona Vale.
This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys providing thoughtful, effective treatment rather than simply working through a high-volume appointment schedule.
Our clinic has a strong focus on remedial and clinical massage, postural assessment, movement and helping clients achieve lasting improvements in pain, mobility and function.
The successful therapist will have the opportunity to work with an existing client base while continuing to build their own regular clientele within a supportive and professional clinic environment.
About the Opportunity
You will provide individualised remedial massage treatments based on each client’s needs, presentation and treatment goals.
Treatments may include:
- Remedial and deep-tissue massage
- Sports massage
- Trigger-point therapy
- Myofascial techniques
- Postural and movement-based assessment
- Treatment of muscular pain, tension, restriction and overuse
- Ongoing maintenance and injury-prevention care
This is an independent-contractor opportunity with flexible hours. It may suit an experienced therapist seeking additional clinic hours or someone wanting to establish themselves within a respected existing practice.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Diploma of Remedial Massage
- Has, or is willing to obtain, an active ABN
- Is eligible for professional association membership and health-fund provider recognition
- Maintains appropriate professional insurance
- Provides confident, effective and client-focused treatments
- Can assess each client individually rather than relying on a standard treatment routine
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
- Takes pride in building long-term relationships with clients
- Is interested in continuing to develop their clinical knowledge and treatment skills
Previous clinic experience is preferred, but a therapist with strong practical skills, maturity and the right approach will also be considered.
