About the RFMHS:
Embedded within Forensicare’s Community Directorate, the RFMHS comprise eight teams across the state - one in each Wellbeing region (three in metropolitan Melbourne and five in regional Victoria). These teams operate as ‘spokes’ to Forensicare’s central Community Forensic Mental Health Services (CFMHS) ‘hub’.
Each RFMHS team is multidisciplinary, including a manager, medical, nursing and allied health (psychology, social work, occupational therapy) clinicians, as well as administrative support. The teams deliver services to people aged 18 years and over with forensic mental health concerns.
RFMHS teams provide consultation, case management, supervision, care coordination and psychological interventions to individuals living in, or transitioning to the community.
About the Role:
Forensicare is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join the Regional Forensic Mental Health Service (RFMHS) based in Ballarat. This role will initially provide administrative support across Grampians and remotely to Gippsland and Loddon Mallee.
The role is responsible for delivering high-level administrative and reception support to clinical teams and senior staff, including:
- Managing reports and correspondence
- Maintaining databases and filing systems
- Handling enquiries and supporting reception
- Assisting with service coordination projects.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
About You:
We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills along with:
- Experience in administration, office coordination or service support
- Strong IT and database management capability
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A collaborative and professional approach to work
