Bar Bruno is Odd Culture Group's neighbourhood Osteria on York Street, serving house-made pasta, pork cotoletta bigger than the plate, classic Italian hospitality and a wine list that leans proudly Italian.
Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, Bar Bruno is part of one of Sydney's most exciting hospitality precincts — and we're looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team.
The Role
We're looking for a confident and motivated Chef de Partie who enjoys working in a busy, service-driven kitchen and takes pride in producing consistently great food.
You'll work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team, taking ownership of your section while contributing to the energy, quality and culture of the Bar Bruno kitchen.
What you'll do
- Take ownership of your section during busy services.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes consistently.
- Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness.
- Follow food safety and kitchen procedures at all times.
- Assist with prep, stock management and day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Support and mentor junior members of the kitchen team.
- Bring ideas, energy and a positive attitude to the kitchen.
We're looking for someone who
- Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
- Has experience working in busy, quality-driven kitchens.
- Is organised, reliable and calm under pressure.
- Takes pride in their work and has strong attention to detail.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality.
- Is keen to learn, develop and grow within a progressive hospitality group.

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
