Your Team
The Strategic Account Associate position is a newly created role within our Strategic Partnerships team, supporting some of CFS’s most important licensee and strategic firm relationships. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, you’ll help manage a portfolio of strategic accounts day to day - key to the operational rhythm that keeps engagement, delivery and service running smoothly, supported by an account strategy that provide clarity in the outcomes your role contributes towards.
Your Responsibilities
Support and follow through on inbound requests, both from internal stakeholders and external strategic account stakeholders, ensuring they are actioned and resolved, including coordinating responses across internal CFS teams across Product, Marketing, FirstTech, Operations and Distribution.
Prepare and follow up outstanding actions from meetings and keep commitments on track.
Support and attend key partnership meetings with internal and external Executive level stakeholders.
Coordinate PD Day participation, conference attendance, registrations and follow up actions by working closely with the CFS Engagement and Events Manager.
Your Capability and Experience
Interest in account management or sales support within financial services.
A working knowledge of financial services products, investment vehicles, managed accounts and platform solutions.
Strong communication skills, organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
Experience supporting client-facing team members across Distribution.
Proactive approach to risk and compliance management, open to raising questions and transparency
Existing knowledge and interest in the changing dynamics of the Australian advice industry and recent industry changes
Existing experience working in or with larger AFSL groups
Experience supporting the launch or adoption of new solutions or financial advice products and services.
Experience working with artificial intelligence. Preferably Co-Pilot (Chat GPT, Claude)
