Experienced Leading Hand (Landscape and Civil) NEEDED
Fratelli Group Pty Ltd are landscaping and civil constructions specialists, offering a variety of services including retaining walls, concrete slabs, turf, paving, sandstone works and garden construction. We service all Sydney suburbs and the surrounds.
We pride ourselves in providing our customers with solutions that are functional and innovative and are looking for an experience and fully qualified leading hand to joint our team. This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person.
Key Responsibilities
1. Reading construction plans and drawings, including the ability to work to reduced levels.
2. Ordering timber, steel, concrete and other site materials in line with specifications; this also involve arranging for the delivery of all site materials.
3. Preparing construction layouts from plans.
4. Preparing concrete formwork from timber – this will include cutting and measuring the timber and erecting the framework.
5. Preparing steel fixing and concrete for pavements, walling and other civil works.
6. Ensuring that productivity efficiency and time frame goals are met.
7. Lead, support and mentor apprentices; this will include delegating tasks at skill-appropriate levels.
8. Communicating and developing strong relationships with the site teams.
9. Follow and abide to strict environmental, health safety and quality systems.
Skills Required
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in formwork and concrete works
2. Be self-motivated and driven to excel
3. Experienced in hard landscaping
4. Possess a can-do attitude
5. A minimum AQF Certificate III in a relevant course of study is preferred
Annual salary package: $65,000 plus superannuation
