We are seeking a driven and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Sales team. This is a full-time permanent hybrid role that can be based anywhere across South East Queensland.
You will identify new business opportunities, grow strategic customer relationships, and drive sales across our steel and accessories product range. Working closely with internal teams and key stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering sustainable growth and success while building your career with an industry leader.

What will you be doing?
- Drive business growth by identifying and developing opportunities across bulk steel, and accessories sales.
Develop, implement and review strategic growth plans, with annual planning and quarterly performance reviews.
Analyse pricing and margins, working closely with Procurement to optimise profitability and reporting accuracy.
Support supplier and customer negotiations to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
Build and manage strategic partnerships and key customer accounts, delivering exceptional service and long-term value.
Skills and Experiences:
What are we looking for in the successful candidate?
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the steel/building industry in a similar position.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with sound IT literacy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Self-starter who takes pride in their work and strives for excellence.
- Ability to build rapport with a varied audience and who thrives under pressure.
- Tertiary or further education in a related field preferred.
- Understanding of steel reinforcing scheduling and estimating highly regarded.
