Sales and Operations Manager – Townsville, QLD
The Role
Adbri Masonry is seeking a Sales and Operations Manager to lead commercial growth and operational performance across our Townsville and Northern Region operations.
This role is the critical link between sales, customer service, logistics, production and operations. You will lead a team of seven, drive revenue and profitability, optimise resources and deliver safe, reliable and exceptional customer outcomes.
Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day regional sales and operations to achieve safety, quality, service, revenue and margin targets

Develop and execute regional sales strategies, forecasts, account plans and growth initiatives

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted market segments

Build strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders and industry partners

Lead, coach and develop sales and operational teams, fostering accountability and collaboration

Manage regional budgets, financial forecasts, costs, margins and profitability performance

Oversee resource planning, scheduling, inventory, logistics, supply chain and asset utilisation

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency

Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities

Negotiate major contracts and commercial agreements within delegated authority

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, quality, sustainability and regulatory standards
What You Will Need to Succeed

Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in a related discipline

Previous sales and operational management experience, ideally within construction materials, manufacturing or a related industry

Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and margin management

Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams

Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills

A strategic and analytical mindset with a strong focus on customers, results and continuous improvement

Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively across commercial and operational environments

A current valid driver’s licence and flexibility for occasional local and interstate travel
