Childcare Cook (School Hours Available)
The Kindy Garden Early Learning Centre is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team.

About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for children aged 0 to 5 years, maintaining food safety standards and supporting positive food experiences throughout the service.
This position offers approximately 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility around start and finish times. The role may suit a parent returning to work, someone seeking school hours, or anyone looking for a healthy work life balance.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys cooking and preparing healthy meals
- Is organised and able to manage their time effectively
- Has a positive and reliable work ethic
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Qualifications and Experience
No formal cooking qualifications are required.
Experience in food preparation, hospitality, catering, aged care, school canteens or childcare kitchens would be highly regarded, but not essential.
