PLUS 82 GOGI PTY LTD (Plus 82 Gogi Korean BBQ), located in the heart of Adelaide CBD, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time Cook to join our kitchen team.
Plus 82 Gogi Korean BBQ is a modern Korean BBQ restaurant offering a unique shared dining experience featuring premium meats, fresh vegetables, house-made sauces, traditional stews, rice dishes, noodles, and Korean BBQ sets.
This is a full-time position with a minimum of 38 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking high-quality Korean dishes while maintaining food safety and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Korean BBQ dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Handle meats, marinades, sauces, stews, noodles, rice, vegetables, and side dishes
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and stock rotation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and food preparation areas
- Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation
- Follow workplace health, safety, and food hygiene procedures
- Support and assist junior kitchen staff when required
- Cater to dietary requirements and allergy-related requests
Skills & Experience Required
- Relevant formal qualification with at least 1 year of work experience, or a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Experience in Korean cuisine or Korean BBQ will be highly regarded
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
