About the Role
We’re excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our growing Payroll team. Based in our Kingsford office in the picturesque Barossa, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services across a dynamic national organisation.
This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who takes pride in precision, compliance, and continuous improvement. Working alongside a collaborative and knowledgeable team, you’ll ensure all payroll operations align with Australian legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver accurate and timely payroll services across multiple Australian business units
- Support end-to-end payroll processing in line with Awards, EBAs, and legislation
- Assist with statutory obligations including PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, WorkCover, and Long Service Leave
- Contribute to month-end and year-end reporting
Respond to payroll queries with professionalism and clarity

What You’ll Bring
- Experience managing end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation, ideally across multiple Awards/EBAs
- Strong knowledge of Australian Industrial Relations (NES, Modern Awards, EBAs, IFAs)
- Advanced Excel and payroll reporting skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Discreet, trustworthy approach to sensitive information
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with Kronos and Pronto (desirable)
