About the role
In this role you will be responsible for effectively managing projects within the Built Environment program. Projects include, but are not limited to, management and implementation of the accommodation strategy including major capital and minor works, service expansions, court security upgrades and includes procurement of project services.
You will be required to engage with project stakeholders, monitor, and report alignment and compliance to the established governance framework and methodology. You will need to develop and maintain strong, productive, and successful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, such as Court Services Vic (CSV).
You will also oversee and manage VLA's accommodation program plans, and prepare and maintain project specific work plans and status reports with estimation of project deliverables, milestones, timelines, and risks.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

Prior project experience within a program structure, where a range of projects and tasks are coordinated in parallel.

A proven track record working in capital and minor work projects, ideally within a program-based development environment, with an understanding of user experience and human centred design.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders that demonstrate respect and understanding of social and cultural differences

Demonstrated project management methodology knowledge including budget, risk and issue tracking as well as mitigation in a program environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
