Our warehouse is where the Lorna Jane brand promise becomes real — and we need the right leader to help run it.
For over 37 years we've been empowering women and transforming the world. The people behind the scenes are central to that story. As our Assistant Warehouse Manager, you'll help lead a team that takes real pride in its work, holds itself to a high standard, and shows up every day ready to perform.
The role
This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll work closely with the Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, develop your team, and drive performance across the floor. When the Warehouse Manager is out, you're the one holding the standard. That means being across the detail, staying calm under pressure, and knowing how to bring the best out of the people around you.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the team is executing against KPIs — picking, packing, units and orders per hour.
- Prepare and communicate daily workflows, coordinating across departments and aligning staffing to operational needs.
- Onboard new starters and lead ongoing cross-training, coaching, and performance development across the team.
- Monitor and resolve order exceptions, maintain accurate records, and support ERP data integrity.
- Assist with inbound operations including container preparation, purchase order receipting, and bulk stock management.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that lift speed, accuracy, and efficiency across the DC.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience leading warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Solid knowledge of Australian WH&S regulations and distribution best practice.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems experience.
- Strong communication and coaching skills — you hold people accountable with clarity and care.
- A current forklift licence is preferred.
Why Lorna Jane
- A brand with genuine purpose — empowering women for over 37 years, and we're not finished.
- Flexible working arrangements with hours between 6am–6pm.
- A 98% female workforce and fully female leadership team — empowerment is built into how we operate.
- A high-performance culture where people genuinely believe in each other.
- Real pathways to grow — we back the people who are hungry for more.
