Sunpork is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Labourer to join our team at Wasleys, SA. This is a Permanent - Full Time position. As a Maintenance Labourer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks to ensure the effective maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. Your main duties will include:
- Assisting with general maintenance tasks such as repairs, painting, and cleaning
- Operating and maintaining various hand and power tools
- Performing routine inspections of equipment and reporting any issues promptly
- Assisting with the setup and dismantling of equipment as required
- Following all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Supporting other team members in completing maintenance projects efficiently
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good physical stamina, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in a maintenance role would be advantageous but not essential. - Proven experience in general maintenance work, including repairs and upkeep of facilities and equipment
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to maintenance work environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required
