About the role
This role sits within the Credit & Fixed Income team, supporting Portfolio Managers with credit analysis across corporate issuers, both domestic and international.
You will focus on assessing credit quality, forming investment views and communicating insights that directly inform portfolio decisions. The role provides exposure across sectors and both domestic and offshore markets, with a mix of structured analysis and ad hoc research into credit risks and market themes.
Key responsibilities
Research and write credit reviews, including recommendations on portfolio suitability
Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing credit opinions
Prepare briefs on issuers, transactions and sector themes
Share insights with portfolio managers on risks, developments and implications
Analyse financial statements, ratings reports and industry research
Attend issuer briefings and presentations to gather market insights
Support oversight of credit risk and contribute to broader team activity
About you
3–5 years’ experience in credit analysis (asset management, banking or ratings agency)
Degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related discipline
Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
Experience presenting investment views or credit rationale
Solid Excel skills and comfort working with data
Able to manage deadlines and work both independently and within a team
Exposure to fixed income, multi-asset or relevant databases is beneficial
