As a Permanent Part-Time Disability Support Worker, you'll enjoy guaranteed contracted hours, a consistent roster and the opportunity to build genuine relationships with the people you support. Week 1: Monday 4pm - 8am (Sleepover between 10pm & 6am) & Wednesday 4pm - 8am (Sleepover between 10pm & 6am)
Week 2: Monday 4pm - 8am (Sleepover between 10pm & 6am) & Wednesday 4pm - 8am (Sleepover between 10pm & 6am)
What you'll be doing
- Help someone tick off a goal they've been working towards — big or small
- Be a steady, familiar face for personal care, household tasks and getting out into the community
- Back people to make their own choices and have real say over their day
- Stay calm and grounded when things get unpredictable, including with complex behaviours
- Build trust that lasts, backed by solid documentation and a team that has your back

- You've supported people with disability before, including complex behaviours or higher support needs
- You stay calm and professional under pressure, and don't rattle easily
- You know how to build real connection while keeping clear boundaries
- You communicate clearly and keep on top of your notes and records
- You're reliable and flexible, and genuinely want to keep learning
