The Opportunity
This role is working as part of the ACIC Messaging and Integration Team in a production support role. This involves investigating production problems in an environment using IBM Integration components, working with application teams and maintaining and developing monitoring and logging tools to ensure reliability and performance.
Role responsibilities

Designing, documenting and implementing service interfaces, integration logic and XML schema design for messaging solutions.

Working with application development teams to ensure broad solutions that maximise interoperability, reusability, service capacity and capability to end users.

Investigating and resolving complex integration and messaging problems.

Develop and maintain performance, monitoring, logging, audit and testing tools associated with messaging and integration.

Building and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships, including providing advice and guidance to team members on more complex messaging and integration requirements and solutions.
Provide integration and messaging skills to design, build and implement web services, REST services and messaging solutions for internal applications and external partners.

Your skills and capabilities
- Demonstrated experience with implementing solutions using IBM Integration Bus/IBM App Connect Enterprise using Java and/or ESQL.

Experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using Enterprise Application and Integration (EAI) and SOA principles.

Demonstrated experience supporting the provision of IBM Integration Bus/IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQ and IBM Datapower deployments.

Significant experience working with SSL, general PKI concepts, XML standards and schemas.

Familiarity with REST/JSON API design concepts and implementation.
Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to cultivate productive working relationships; engage with stakeholders across multiple levels; and mentor and develop team members.
