The Department of Education's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Services Branch is seeking a skilled and dedicated OHS Services Officer to join the North Western Victoria Region (NWVR).

Key responsibilities include:

Working collaboratively as part of a regionally based team to deliver consistent, hands-on OHS and emergency management services and support to schools, helping achieve safer school environments.

Partnering with schools to complete OHS and emergency management planning tasks, offering expert guidance, including on the effective use of digital systems.

Providing exceptional service delivery and building strong relationships with schools, regional offices, contracted external providers and key members of the Division.

Championing best practices and driving continuous improvement in OHS and emergency management processes.
This role reports to the Manager, OHS Services, North Western Victoria Region (NWVR) and receives guidance and mentoring from Senior OHS Services Officers. The role works closely with school principals and leaders and requires regular travel throughout the region to undertake school visits.
