We are currently hiring an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team based out of our Brisbane (Hamilton) office.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor and broader AP team to help make sure supplier invoices, payments, and vendor details are processed accurately and on time. You’ll play an important part in keeping our financial records correct and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter supplier invoices into Medius accurately and make sure they follow company policies
- Help prepare and process payments using JDE and online banking, including checking details through EFTsure to reduce fraud risk
- Match and reconcile supplier statements, fix any differences, and keep vendor information up to date
- Answer questions from suppliers and internal teams, support audit requests, and maintain good working relationships
- Assist with improving AP processes and help with general tasks, reporting, finance projects, and working with other teams
About You
- A positive, proactive, can-do attitude with good problem‑solving skills and the ability to work well with different teams
- Comfortable using Excel and accounting systems (we use JDE)
- Strong attention to detail, accurate work habits, good time management, and clear communication
- Around 1-2 years of experience in AP or a similar finance role, with an understanding of how AP works
- Nice to have: awareness of fraud‑prevention practices, an understanding of invoicing, and basic accounting principles
