We are currently looking for a motivated and talented Lead C++ Software Engineer to join our Canberra Development team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team of highly experienced developers from around the world on core technologies and critical real-time systems that drive the oneZero platform. A financial background is not required; however, you must be able to learn new concepts quickly and apply them to C++ code, design and algorithms.
Lead engineers should expect to spend, on average, around 50% of their time managing their engineering team and 50% on actual coding.

This role is a full-time position in the oneZero Canberra office. Applicants must be based in the Canberra region or be able to relocate.

Required Skills:
- At least 5 years of industry experience in C++ development.
- At least 3 years of technical management or lead experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience contributing to employee performance review processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
Additional experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:
- Agile methodologies and processes.
- Multithreaded programming.
