Position: Casual Chef de Partie
Location: Fior, Gymea NSW (Sutherland Shire)
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Casual Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Fior. You’ll be part of a creative, high‑energy kitchen delivering exceptional Italian‑inspired cuisine with a modern Australian edge in one of Gymea’s most exciting dining destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high‑quality dishes to Fior’s exacting standards during service.
- Manage and run your kitchen section efficiently during lunch and/or dinner shifts.
- Support mise en place and daily prep to ensure smooth service.
- Keep your station clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards.
- Work closely with Head Chef and kitchen brigade to uphold consistency in flavour, plating and execution.
- Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen team members.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Passion for Italian‑inspired cuisine and quality seasonal produce.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Flexible availability — including nights, weekends and peak service times.
