What you'll do
Provide expert guidance on ieMR functionality, general business rules and operational workflow suggestions to facilities new to the ieMR, and the local implementation teams supporting ieMR rollout.
Support eHealth Delivery Service Branch to assess, identify, suggest and implement clinical, operational, resource and workflow impacts and service improvement opportunities for new onboarding ieMR facilities
Provide a central coordination point for advanced clinical informatics in relation to statewide digital healthcare, including:
- Provide advanced clinical informatics guidance in relation to the maintenance/enhancement/innovation of digital healthcare solutions, with comprehensive information transfer relating to design capabilities and system functionality.
- Provide functionality expertise to stakeholders undergoing the establishment, review, and improvement of standardised clinical workflows.
- Support for the governance and process for maintaining clinical owners of the clinical content.
- Undertake clinical validation and testing of major and minor system changes assessing for technical or clinical impacts.
- Interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements in the development, review, and application of digital healthcare solutions.
Provide oversight of standardised training and education material to aid the transition to a digital healthcare application.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and ability to negotiate change.
Demonstrated high level of clinical skills and knowledge of specialist clinical area with a comprehensive understanding of operational requirements, clinical governance and performance indicators.
Experience in providing high-level judgement in advising and influencing senior management and other stakeholders in relation to Queensland Health's digital agenda.
Ability to lead digital quality service improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes within digital Hospital and Health Services.
Uses evidence-based practice to apply knowledge and skills that support state wide Hospital and Health Services to manage complex clinical caseloads using digital applications.
