Salary:
Temporary – WHA4, $1,128.00 to $1,140.60 per week + 12% Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits
Casual – WHA4, $37.13 – $37.51 per hour
Theatre orderly positions require a completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the role.

About the role
Join the Surgical Services team as a Theatre Orderly, providing safe, high-quality patient and theatre support. Maintain equipment, transport patients, assist the team, and contribute to continuous improvement under RN supervision.
Key duties of the role
Maintain theatre equipment, barouches, oxygen, and suction units to division standards
Assist with patient transport, identification, lifting, positioning, and specimen handling
Support theatre team through effective communication, stock management, and teamwork
Follow safe work practices, OHSW guidelines, and continuous improvement initiatives
Orient new staff and contribute to a cohesive, safe, and efficient theatre environment
Skills and Experience
AQF Certificate III in a relevant field (essential)
Strong verbal and written communication with staff and patients
Team-focused with ability to work independently under supervision
Understanding of confidentiality, patient safety, and OHSW practices
Physically able, punctual, flexible, and accountable in a fast-paced environment
