Support Worker
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Support Workers to deliver Domestic Assistance and Daily Living supports. You will assist NDIS participants, including those with psychosocial disabilities and complex mental health needs, to maintain independence and safely manage their day-to-day living within their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred supports in line with NDIS plans
- Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Support participants with daily living activities and routine management
- Provide psychosocial support and assist with emotional regulation strategies
- Support community access, appointments, and social engagement
- Perform safe manual handling tasks in accordance with training and WHS requirements
- Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reporting
- Monitor wellbeing and escalate risks in accordance with policies
- Promote independence, choice, and capacity building
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in mental health / psychosocial disability support
- Experience in in-home support, community access, or domestic assistance roles
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Mental Health, or equivalent
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Manual Handling training (current)
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Highly Regarded
- Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern
- Knowledge of NDIS compliance, documentation, and reporting requirements
- Medication assistance competency (where applicable)
- Experience working independently in community-based settings

Pay: $36.00 – $45.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
