This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across a critical healthcare environment, with accountability for statutory compliance, operational performance, service quality and continuous improvement. We’re looking for a Senior Facilities Manager who brings strong FM administration, systems and process capability, and who is motivated by the opportunity to improve how services are delivered, not simply maintain business as usual.

Oversee planned and reactive maintenance programs
Manage subcontractor performance against SLAs and KPIs
Provide strategic advice on asset performance, risk mitigation, and optimisation
Lead financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Drive continuous improvement and innovation across service delivery
Oversee audits, reporting, and governance requirements
Manage critical incidents and ensure timely resolution of high-risk issues
Lead and develop a team of facilities staff and contractors
About You
Extensive experience in facilities management within complex environments (healthcare or critical infrastructure experience highly regarded)
Proven leadership experience managing teams and contractors
Strong administration, process and systems skills
Strong knowledge of hard services, asset management, and maintenance delivery
Excellent stakeholder management skills across client, clinical, and operational teams
Ability to manage risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Data-driven with experience using CMMS/BMS systems for reporting and insights
Public-Private Partnership experience is highly regarded
Happy to meet Queensland Health’s vaccination requirements and happy to work Monday to Friday on-site.
