We are currently seeking experienced & motivated Boilermakers & Mechanical Fitters to join our growing team for ongoing shutdown and maintenance work across various mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin.
These roles involve working on CHPPs, fixed plant maintenance, shutdowns, breakdowns, and general mechanical and structural repairs in a fast-paced mining environment.
Preferably looking for people in Queensland within the Mackay as our work is primarily based in the Bowen Basin region.
Successful applicants will be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well within a team while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shutdown and maintenance work across multiple mine sites
- Fixed plant maintenance and repairs
- Structural and mechanical repairs and installations
- Welding, fabrication, and equipment maintenance
- Fault finding and breakdown work
- Working safely and following site procedures at all times
- Completing tasks efficiently to meet shutdown schedules

Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Relevant site inductions highly regarded
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Previous mining or shutdown experience preferred
Pay: From $68.00 per hour
