Job Description
Join us as a Senior Façade Engineer in Melbourne! You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality façade engineering services, including design, engineering, documentation, project administration and compliance with project requirements, standards and constraints. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, challenging projects, lead technically, and mentor others while making a tangible impact on the built environment.
You will also be responsible for:

Deliver and oversee façade and structural engineering design services, including concept development, detailed design, documentation, analysis, specifications and construction phase support

Management of complex projects to ensure the efficient, profitable and high‑quality delivery, including technical strategy, resourcing, risk management, fee support and consultant coordination

Financial management of projects via project budgeting, cost control, invoicing oversight, debtor follow‑up and review of financial performance

Coordinate and contribute to multi‑disciplinary consultancy services (including BMU, Building Physics/ESD, Acoustics, Logistics, Remedial and Lighting) to achieve integrated project outcomes

Manage client relationships and contribute to business development activities by supporting proposals, presentations as required

Mentor junior engineers and consultants to foster a collaborative, safe and high‑performing team culture
Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering (Structural, civil) or architectural discipline.

Demonstrated experience in façade engineering, structural engineering or related building engineering disciplines

Demonstrated experience delivering complex façade projects, including curtain wall, glazing, cladding and specialist systems

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting programme, budget and quality requirements

Proven capability in façade concept design, detailed engineering, documentation and construction‑phase support

Experience providing technical leadership on projects, including mentoring junior engineers and reviewing technical outputs

Strong understanding of façade performance requirements including structural behaviour, weatherproofing, durability and constructability

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

A collaborative mindset and ambition to consistently achieve high standards of work for clients
