Unaccredited Trainee – Urology
A position is currently available for an Unaccredited Trainee in Surgery - Urology at Dubbo Health Service. This is a 12 month Unaccredited Urology Trainee position in a high volume Urology department with major elective and emergency operations. This position is intended to supply the successful applicant with operative and non-operative urology experience prior to the commencement of surgical training.
The Urology Trainee will work closely alongside the Consultant Urologist in theatre and on the wards and will also be the first point of contact for Urology consults during the work day. This position does include on call after hours participation for the general surgical roster and is based on a 1:7 pattern. There are opportunities for research and teaching with the School of Rural Health and Medical Students.

Essential Requirements:
MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
Completion of at least Three (3) postgraduate years of medical practice.
Valid NSW Working with Children check.
Cleared National Police check.
Aged Care Check for Australian Government funded positions.
To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy, this includes any amendments made from time to time.
