Motor Vehicle Panel Beater Required
K&W Motor Service is looking for a Full Time 38 hours per week Panel Beater to join our team at our workshop in Slacks Creek Brisbane.
Successful candidate must be a skilled panel beater with a passion for repairing and restoring motor vehicles. Applicant must be self- motivated, results driven and a team player with exceptional panel beating knowledge, good communication skills, high level proficiency in the use of specific tools and techniques with an exceptional ability to manage time.
Some major duties shall be:
Repair and Restoration: Perform panel beating and body repair work on vehicles to restore them to factory specifications.
-Dent Removal: skill fully remove dents, dings, and other imperfections by removing panels, using appropriate tools and techniques by ensuring proper alignment and fitting
-Straightening damaged vehicles and parts using the specific mechanical and hydraulic equipment
-Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and smoothing out imperfections.
-Replacing badly damaged vehicle parts with new or use parts with proper filling and cutting techniques
-Coordinate well as part of our quality checks by conducting thorough quality checks to ensure the finished work meets our high standards and customer expectations which include our various Insurance Company clientele requirements as well. This will involve working closely with our team members including painters and mechanics and business department to achieve a seamless collaboration in the repair and restoration process.
Experience
If the applicant is Australian qualified with a minimum of Cert III and Cert IV in Automotive Body repair Technology or similar, then at least one to two years of experience is required.
If the applicant is not qualified, then a minimum of three to five years of experience is required.
Salary
A competitive salary depending on qualifications and experience in the range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year plus superannuation will be offered. Any additional work involving overtime will also be paid.
