Associate Product Manager
OASIS Platform · DXC Technology
About OASIS
OASIS is DXC’s internal agentic AI platform, built for our delivery workforce. It supports enterprise clients across Infrastructure, Workplace, BPS, Cybersecurity, and Applications. We compete with platforms like Glean, Moveworks, and IBM watsonx Orchestrate, and we’re staking out our own position as an agentic platform that knows where the user is.
About the team
You’ll join a small, cross-functional product team operating with startup energy inside a global company. PM coverage spans AI Assist, Client experience, and Knowledge. You’ll work across these areas, supporting senior PMs and gradually taking ownership of your own scope. You’ll report to the Director of Product Management and User Experience.
The role
We’re looking for an Associate Product Manager to grow into a full PM seat on the OASIS team. You’ll start by supporting our PMs across AI Assist, Client, and Knowledge. You’ll learn how product gets built on OASIS, sit in on user interviews, help turn research into specs, and take on more independent scope as you ramp up.
This is a role for someone early in their PM career who wants to learn fast in a team that ships. You won’t be running point on a vision document on day one, but you also won’t be sitting on the sidelines. The bar is real ownership, on a real product, with senior people around you to learn from.
What you’ll do
- Support PMs across discovery, definition, and delivery
- Sit in on user interviews and research sessions, then help synthesize what you heard into product decisions
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and Jira tickets engineers can build from
- Track release readiness and coordinate go-live activities
- Work with Engineering and Design from problem framing through ship
- Own a discrete area of the product within your first six months
About you
- You have 1 to 3 years of product, business analyst, consulting, technical, or operations experience
- You write clearly, especially in long form. Specs, briefs, and summaries come naturally to you.
- You have a bias toward action. You’d rather draft something rough and get it in front of a person than wait for the perfect version.
- You’re curious about how AI agents and platforms actually work, and how users actually use them
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity. You ask the obvious question rather than guess.
- You can hold the user problem and the engineering trade-off in your head at the same time
- You’re drawn to defining the problem, not just describing the solution
Nice to have
- Exposure to enterprise software, IT operations, or technical delivery environments
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, or similar tools
- Some background in design, engineering, or research
- Comfort sketching ideas quickly, including with AI tools like Lovable or v0
How we work
We’re a human-centered product team. No feature enters a sprint without a defined user problem. We move through Discover, Define, Design, and Deliver, with Confluence as the record and Jira as the work. The PM job here is to define the problem, not just ship a feature.
