We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Mental Health Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
About the Role:
You will be supporting participants living with mental health and psychosocial disabilities in their daily lives, helping them achieve their goals and maintain independence within the community.
Your duties may include:
✔ Community access and social support
✔ Assistance with daily living skills
✔ Emotional support and encouragement
✔ Supporting participants to attend appointments
✔ Building capacity and independence
✔ Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation
Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Disability, Community Services or equivalent, demonstrated experience supporting People with Disability
- Manual handling experience required
- Experience supporting clients exhibiting challenging behaviours would be highly regarded
- Current Drivers Licence [Own Vehicle]
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Capability to maintain client’s privacy and confidentiality
- Ability and willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster including weekends, nights and public holidays
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Great organizational skills
Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
