We are now seeking a bright, bubbly, passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join our leadership team and help shape the educational heart of our centre. About the Role
As our Educational Leader, you will be the pedagogical driver of the centre, guiding, inspiring and supporting educators to deliver high‑quality, child‑centred programs aligned with the EYLF, VEYLDF, NQS and Child Safe Standards.
This is a hands‑on, collaborative role where you will spend meaningful time in classrooms each day, modelling best practice, supporting educators and ensuring our learning environments are engaging, inclusive and full of wonder whilst having time off the floor to achieve set goals.
You will:
- Lead, mentor and coach educators to strengthen curriculum planning, intentional teaching and reflective practice
- Guide educators through the planning and assessment cycle to create meaningful documentation and learning experiences
- Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Support the creation of safe, inspiring indoor and outdoor environments that respond to children’s strengths and interests
- Champion wellbeing, inclusion and positive behaviour support
- Deliver onboarding, training and ongoing professional development
- Support compliance with the NQS, National Regulations and the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan
- Partner with families through documentation, displays and communication that celebrates learning
- Collaborate closely with the Centre Director and leadership team to drive centre‑wide quality and growth

About You
You are a warm, confident and inspiring early childhood professional who:
- Holds a Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA‑approved)
- Communicates beautifully with children, families and educators
- Understands the power of observation, documentation and reflective practice
- Has strong knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
- Thrives in a collaborative, supportive team environment
- Is passionate about mentoring educators and elevating practice
- Brings creativity, positivity and a “one team” mindset
- Is organised, proactive and excited to help shape a new centre’s culture

Position Details
- 5 days per week
- Availability Monday to Friday, 6:30am–6:30pm
- Start date: Immediate
