About the Venue:
Shooeys Sports Bar is located within Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, one of the Gold Coast's most recognised hotel destinations. Combining a premium sports bar atmosphere with gaming facilities, casual dining and live sporting entertainment, Shooeys delivers a welcoming and energetic experience for both hotel guests and locals.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Bar & Gaming Attendants to join our team. As part of the Crowne Plaza team, you'll have the opportunity to work within a large-scale hospitality operation while developing your skills in a fast-paced bar and gaming environment.
About the Role:
As a Bar & Gaming Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service across all areas of the venue, including bar service, gaming operations and floor service.
This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy interacting with guests, working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver friendly, professional and efficient service to all guests
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with RSA requirements
- Operate gaming facilities in line with Queensland gaming regulations and venue procedures
- Process cash, EFTPOS and gaming transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the venue
- Restock beverage and operational supplies as required
- Assist with venue opening and closing procedures
- Support promotional activities, sporting events and venue activations
- Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety standards
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members and venue leadership
About You:
- Previous experience in a bar, gaming, pub, club or hospitality environment is preferred
- Current Queensland RSA and RSG certifications are required
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and professionally presented
