About the Role
Join our Emergency Department Mental Health team and provide expert psychiatric care when people need it most. Working within a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment, you will deliver high-quality assessment, treatment and clinical leadership for consumers presenting with acute mental health needs, helping to ensure safe, timely and recovery-focused care.
- Lead psychiatric assessment and treatment in the ED
- Guide multidisciplinary care and clinical decision making
- Support registrars, junior doctors and student learning
- Drive quality, safety and continuous improvement activities
- Contribute to research, education and service development
About You
You are an experienced Psychiatrist who combines clinical expertise with compassionate leadership and a commitment to recovery-focused mental health care.
- Fellow of the RANZCP with Specialist Registration
- Deliver expert mental health care and clinical leadership
- Support teaching, supervision and workforce development
- Build strong partnerships across multidisciplinary teams
- Drive quality, safety and continuous improvement
