About the role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive General Manager, Member Experience (EGM) leads the development of strategic initiatives that drive membership and revenue growth, supported by a clear membership value proposition. The appointee will oversee the delivery of strategic and impactful events, partnerships, education and membership service, while leading the development of data-driven, member-centric strategies that enhance member engagement and retention. Inspiring a small team, the EGM will: conceptualise and oversee industry-leading events that benefit members and stakeholders, while fostering continued growth and return on investment; develop and deliver a membership value proposition; and identify and define profitable market segments for future growth and strategic positioning. Leveraging insights from members to uncover growth opportunities and expand into new market segments, the EGM will evaluate the effectiveness of current products and services, and drive innovation by translating member and stakeholder feedback into new, value-adding offerings.
About you
You are a driven executive B2B membership and growth leader with experience leading member acquisition, retention, relations, experience and service delivery within a peak body, membership or other relevant B2B service organisations. With a track record delivering member and financial growth, you thrive on leading and developing high-performing teams and ensuring optimal operational performance. Your demonstrated track record in implementing strategy, and driving business optimisation and operational excellence, is underpinned by your exceptional relationship management, strategic planning and leadership capability, commercial aptitude, ability to manage multiple projects, superior relationship management skills and data driven approach. Your passion to shape and transform this dynamic sector, will see you work in service of one of the most consequential transitions of our time.
