The Opportunity

part-time, permanent
Law Clerk or Solicitor in our
Cleveland office, you’ll gain hands-on experience where you’ll seek justice for those who have been wronged.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Law Clerk, Solicitor or Associate with experience in personal injury law to become the face of our growing Cleveland office. Working with a high degree of independence, you will manage your own file load, build local relationships and play an important role in the continued growth of the office.
We are open to candidates seeking a minimum of three days per week. Flexible start and finish times are also available. We'll take the time to understand your ideal working arrangements throughout the recruitment process, so get in touch!

- Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients seeking compensation.
- Manage a variety of personal injury matters with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Deliver clear, tailored legal advice that aligns with each client's level of understanding.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular, transparent communication and effective expectation management.
- Prepare and review legal documentation with precision and attention to detail.
- Manage your own file load efficiently, demonstrating strong organisational and commercial awareness.
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you’ll:
- A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate, or be nearing completion of your legal studies. We are also open to considering experienced Paralegals looking to step into a Law Clerk role.
- Experience in Personal Injury Law across WorkCover, Motor Vehicle Accidents and Public Liability matters.
- The ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a close-knit team focused on achieving the best outcomes for our clients.
- A strong understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.
- Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters
- Maturity and confidence to deal with clients who may be experiencing trauma
- An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.
- A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
