Senior People & Culture Business Partner

Salary range Grade 5: $106,845 - $129,273 (this range is subject to increase following current EBA negotiations)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior People & Culture Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping workforce capability, organisational effectiveness and people outcomes across our business.
As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will partner with designated business portfolios to align people strategies with organisational priorities and deliver impactful business outcomes. Operating within a contemporary business partnering model, you will provide strategic and operational HR expertise across the employee lifecycle, supporting leaders to build high-performing, engaged and purpose-driven teams.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

Partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic HR, employee relations and workforce advice.

Lead workforce planning, organisational design, talent management and succession planning initiatives.

Support leaders in managing complex people matters, including performance, conduct and workplace investigations.

Provide expert advice on employment legislation, industrial relations, policies and organisational risk.

Lead and support organisational change, culture, inclusion and employee wellbeing initiatives.

Use workforce data and insights to inform decision-making and improve organisational outcomes.

Collaborate across People & Culture functions to deliver integrated people solutions aligned to business needs.

Participate in leadership forums, providing strategic people insights and recommendations
About you
You are a strategic and relationship-focused HR professional who brings deep business partnering expertise and a passion for developing people and organisational capability.

Demonstrated experience in a Senior HR/People & Culture Business Partner role within a complex organisation.

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, coach and collaborate with senior leaders.

Proven experience in workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and organisational change.

Sound knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations and workplace relations frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret workforce data and provide practical, business-focused solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive people matters.
