Role Responsibilities:
As a Butcher you will:
- Carry out daily Butchery production across retail and wholesale channels
- Break down primals and whole cuts with attention to yield and presentation
- Prepare retail-ready cuts, portions and value-added products
- Assist with wholesale orders and specifications for restaurant supply
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and workplace cleanliness
- Support stock rotation, basic stock control and prep lists.
- Work collaboratively with senior staff and hospitality teams.
ABOUT YOU
You will ideally have:
- 3-7+ years experience in a retail and / or wholesale butchery
- Strong knife skills and understanding of yield and portion control
- A genuine interest in quality meat and traditional craft
- Reliability, consistency, and pride in your work
- Ability to work well within a small, close-knit team.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
