What you'll do
As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Aviation, you'll play a key role in delivering major airside infrastructure projects across civil and defence airports. Working as part of Aurecon's Aviation Centre of Excellence, you will:

Lead the design and delivery of airport electrical infrastructure projects

Deliver Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) designs including runway, taxiway, approach lighting and apron floodlighting systems

Develop feasibility studies, concept designs and detailed design documentation

Provide technical leadership across complex airport projects

Review engineering calculations, specifications and technical documentation

Ensure designs comply with MOS Part 139, ICAO Annex 14 and relevant Australian Standards

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary airport planning and engineering teams

Support and mentor developing engineers across the business

Build strong client relationships and contribute to future project opportunities

To be successful, you'll bring:

Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering

Demonstrated experience in Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) design

Strong understanding of airport electrical infrastructure and airside systems

Experience with high voltage, low voltage, CCR and control systems design

Knowledge of MOS Part 139, ICAO standards and airport compliance requirements

Experience delivering projects within a consulting, contractor, airport or aviation environment
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

A passion for technical excellence and mentoring others
