We regularly seek casual freight handlers for afternoon shift at our Gillman depot with start times ranging from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. These roles sort, organise and prepare freight for the nightly regional linehaul operations and require attention to detail, physical fitness and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Applicant Requirements
- Be physically fit to lift and move freight items
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work at efficiently and effectively in a safe manner
- Commitment to safety protocols and a collaborative teamwork approach
- Literacy and comprehension
- Understanding of South Australian regional geography and ability to identify relevant destinations
- Competency with using modern equipment (scanners, touch screens etc)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
