About the Role
As Room Leader, you’ll lead your room with warmth, confidence, and strong, consistent practice.
You’ll play an important role in ensuring children are safe, supported, and engaged, while guiding your team to deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Framework.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a team to deliver engaging, play-based programs aligned with the EYLF
- Maintain strong supervision and a safe, organised environment
- Support children’s development through observation, planning, and reflection
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and your team
- Guide and mentor educators to build confidence and consistency
- Embed child safe practices and respond appropriately to any concerns
About you:
- ACECQA Recognised Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care - (Graduate Diplomas are not suitable for this position).
- Experience leading or supporting a room
- Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and daily practice
- A genuine commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and respectful care
- Confident, hands-on leader with a positive, organised approach
You will also need:
- NSW Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Approved Child Protection training
- Foundations of Child Safety training
