Description:
Prepare, deliver and coordinate age-appropriate biblical teaching and activities for Sunday mornings from 9:30–11:30.
Coordinate and support a small team of volunteers to ensure consistent program delivery.
Develop and facilitate a midweek group for families, such as a family Bible study, outreach opportunity, or a parent discipleship group.
Provide resources for parents to continue spiritual conversations at home.
Curate or adapt a curriculum that aligns with the theological values of the Uniting Church in Australia (UCA).
Communicate regularly with parents via emails, social media, or newsletters.
Connect with the wider community through social functions like "church in the park" or movie nights.
Build relationships with schools (e.g., Kids Hope) and engage with programs like Mainly Music or after-school activities.
Focus on building up the church community and fostering external connections.
Ensure all activities comply with Safe Church policies and Working with Children Checks (WWCC).
Manage general administrative tasks and planning for Kingdom Kids.
Perform other duties within the scope of the role as directed.
