What you will do
As project officer, you will help deliver technology projects that support the department's work.
You will support project delivery from planning through to completion while keeping work on track.
You will:
- prepare clear project plans, reports, briefings and financial documents
- coordinate reliable ICT equipment, technology services and project support activities
- organise effective project meetings, keep records and follow up agreed actions
- monitor accurate project schedules, risks, issues and progress reports
- research project matters, provide practical advice and help improve project processes.
About you
Relevant project management and/or ICT technical qualifications are desirable. You should also have knowledge of project management, purchasing, financial reporting, project software and workplace ICT services.
You should also have:
- strong project management and ICT knowledge
- good problem-solving skills and sound judgement
- clear communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
- confidence using digital tools while supporting an inclusive workplace.
