Our Therapy Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide assistance in all aspects of day-to-day care and individualised therapy, lifestyle and leisure programs to meet the needs of our clients who live in the community.
Under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists you will work independently and travel to our clients’ homes to support them in achieving their functional goals in a 12-week program. This will include assisting them with personal care (showering, toileting etc).
We are seeking Therapy Assistants that live close to our elderly clients living in and around the Rockingham area.
This is a permanent part-time position working:
- Up to 3 days per week, 45 hours per fortnight
Typical hours would be 8am-4pm or 8.30-4.30pm

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance ( or progress towards )
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- The ability to prioritise your workload, problem solve, and work safely and efficiently under pressure without direct supervision
- A positive, proactive and a client-focused approach
- A First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old) including CPR less than 12 months old
- Current valid driver’s licence to drive in Western Australia, as defined by the WA Department of Transport. (essential)
- A reliable, insured car (essential)
A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
