Accounts & Administration Officer
Full-Time | Nowra, NSW
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accounts & Administration Officer to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has strong accounting and administration experience and is comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day financial administration of a busy business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Payroll processing and employee wages
- PAYG withholding and payroll tax administration
- Superannuation processing and reporting
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Entering supplier purchases and invoices
- Entering and processing sales
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Customer account reconciliations
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Following up outstanding customer accounts
- Maintaining accurate financial and accounting records
- Assisting with BAS and other reporting requirements
- Working with management and our external accountant as required
- General office and administration duties
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, payroll or senior administration role
- Has a good understanding of Australian payroll, PAYG and superannuation requirements
- Is confident working with accounting software
- Has good Excel and computer skills
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Can work independently without needing constant supervision
- Is comfortable working in a busy, practical business environment
- Takes ownership of their work and follows tasks through to completion
Experience with MYOB AccountRight would be highly regarded.
Formal accounting qualifications are not essential. Practical experience and a strong understanding of business accounts, payroll and administration are more important to us.

Pay: $67,516.32 – $97,097.73 per year
