ReelWork is an early stage Melbourne technology company changing how businesses hire.
Instead of relying on resumes and expensive job ads, employers can see candidates through short video profiles, post jobs, build talent pools and fill shifts faster.
We already have thousands of candidates and more than 100 employers on the platform. We are now looking for a highly capable commercial leader to help turn that traction into rapid growth and revenue.
This is a senior, hands on role working directly with the founder. You will be responsible for leading sales, improving employer activity, managing the commercial team and building the systems required to scale ReelWork.
The role
You will take ownership of:
- Employer growth and revenue
- Sales strategy and execution
- Managing sales and customer success staff
- Converting employer signups into active customers
- Building relationships with larger businesses and industry partners
- Improving onboarding, retention and account activity
- Setting weekly targets and holding the team accountable
- Building clear sales systems, processes and reporting
- Working closely with product and marketing to improve conversion
- Identifying new commercial opportunities and revenue streams
This is not a role where you sit back and manage reports. You will be expected to speak with customers, close opportunities, solve problems and help build the commercial side of the company from the ground up.
About you
You are commercially sharp, highly organised and comfortable working in a fast moving business.
You may currently be working in technology, SaaS, recruitment, hospitality, retail, sales, operations or business development.
You will likely have experience in several of the following areas:
- Sales leadership
- Business development
- Account growth
- Customer success
- Team management
- Commercial operations
- Building systems and processes
- Working directly with business owners or senior decision makers
You do not need startup experience, but you must be comfortable with speed, accountability and change.
Hospitality or retail experience would be valuable, but commercial ability, leadership and execution matter more.
