About the Role
We are launching a premium, high-end deli café concept in the heart of the Sydney CBD, and we are looking for a world-class Deli Café Manager to lead the charge. This isn't your standard espresso bar—we are curating an exceptional space focused on top-tier artisanal ingredients, clean-label premium products, and an uncompromising standard of service.
As the face of the venue, you will have true ownership over the daily operations, standard operating procedures, and customer experience. You’ll lead a passionate team, manage premium supplier relationships, and ensure our presentation is always flawless.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations: Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house workflows, ensuring pristine presentation and smooth, high-volume lunch and coffee execution.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a tight-knit team to deliver seamless, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm hospitality.
Compliance & Food Safety: Act as the venue's champion for food safety regulations, ensuring strict adherence to NSW Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) standards, allergen management, and HACCP protocols.
Inventory & Quality Control: Manage premium stock levels, supplier ordering, portion control, and strict waste management without sacrificing quality.
Financial Performance: Manage labor costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), and daily reporting to maximize the store's profitability.
What We’re Looking For
The Experience: Proven experience as a Venue Manager, Cafe Manager, or Assistant Manager in a premium, high-volume hospitality, specialty food retail, or high-end deli environment.
The Standard: An eye for immaculate detail. You understand how visual merchandising, lighting, cleanliness, and product display elevate a customer's experience.
The Credentials: A current NSW Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certification is highly regarded (or a deep, practical understanding of compliance and auditing).
The Vibe: A natural leader who leads by example on the floor, thrives in a fast-paced CBD environment, and possesses excellent communication skills
