Thorpe Street Health is a new multidisciplinary medical centre dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centred healthcare to the Rockingham community.
We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to work alongside GPs and allied health professionals in a modern practice where patient care, teamwork and clinical excellence are at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
As a Practice Nurse, you will play an integral role in supporting both clinical operations and patient care. Working within your scope of practice, you'll help deliver high-quality healthcare while building meaningful relationships with patients and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and clinical triage
- Administer immunisations, injections and treatments
- Provide wound care and support chronic disease management
- Perform ECGs and pathology collection (where qualified)
- Assist GPs with procedures and clinical interventions
- Support GP Management Plans and coordinated patient care
- Manage recalls, reminders and follow-up programs
- Educate patients on preventative health and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Contribute to health promotion and community health initiatives
About YouEssential
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Previous experience in general practice, primary care or community health
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Current CPR certification
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care
Highly Regarded
- Accredited Nurse Immuniser qualification
- Experience with Best Practice software
- Chronic Disease Management experience
- Pathology collection experience
- Previous general practice nursing experience
