Our pharmacy is seeking a friendly, detail-driven Dispensary Technician to support our pharmacists in a busy community health hub. This role is also ideal for a pharmacy student looking for hands-on dispensary experience 1–2 days per week alongside their studies.
Our Values:
- Customers First: We believe every visit is an opportunity for conversation. You’ll greet regulars by name and help keep the dispensary running smoothly for them.
- Clear Communication: You are a proactive and precise communicator with patients and the team.
- Growth Mindset: You’re eager to learn the ins and outs of a real dispensary and grow your skills with every shift.
The Toolkit:
- Currently studying pharmacy (ideal, but not essential for the right person).
- Available 1–3 days per week on a consistent schedule.
- A genuine desire to learn names and understand local community dynamics.
- Prior dispensary experience with Z software preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to assist with Webster packing (DAAs) as required.
The Perks:
- Study-friendly: A fixed 1–2 day schedule that works around your uni timetable, with no late nights.
- Real Experience: Work alongside pharmacists in a vital community hub including dispensing, Webster packing and more. The perfect grounding for your future career.
- Supportive Team: Solid staff-to-script ratio where you’ll be trained properly, not thrown in the deep end.
- Growth: For pharmacy students, this is a genuine pathway to learn the profession from the dispensary floor up. Opportunities to take on bigger roles/internship/ownership are available for the right candidates.
- Commute: Secure on-site parking provided (a rarity for the city fringe!) or easy public transport access.
