Position Purpose
As an Embryologist, you will play a vital role in shaping patient experiences by delivering safe, precise, and compassionate scientific care. Working as a trained scientist in the embryology and andrology team, you’ll contribute to exceptional laboratory performance, mentor colleagues, and uphold the highest standards of practice to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced embryology and andrology procedures (ICSI, embryo grading, cryopreservation, biopsy, etc.)
Conduct accurate fertilisation checks and embryo assessments
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and clinicians
Review treatment plans and ensure compliance with best-practice standards
Mentor and train junior team members
Maintain strict adherence to protocols, compliance obligations, and accreditation requirements
Support laboratory equipment maintenance and stock management
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide out-of-hours scientific support as part of an on-call roster
What we are looking for
Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant scientific field, with competency in advanced embryology and andrology techniques
Minimum two years’ experience in an IVF laboratory environment, and trained in all aspects of IVF science (mandatory).
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain scientific concepts clearly
High attention to detail and ability to work safely and efficiently in a compliance-driven setting
